Free Charity Website and not for profit hosting

In the past we have offered very reasonably priced website hosting with email services.  We have done this by bulk buying website space and services which we then sell on to you.  This has allowed us to offer improved flexibility and a first line of support to fix any problems that occur either on your website or with your email including for example adding email addresses and forwarders, troubleshooting your website and deal with any access issues. 

We are phasing out this service and are recommending 3 options which will save you money and continue with support.

All this might appear quite daunting, but it’s not tricky as Krystal will guide you through the process. If you’re still stuck we can help you but there will be a £45/hr charge for that help.

Already a client of ours and want to change to the free option?

Do not choose to register a domain or transfer a domain or existing domain. Choose Skip this step. At the next step put in your charity number. When you click the next step, put in the details and then go to checkout. Your account will be set up with the email address as your account name. Now email Chris to confirm that you want the transfer and telling him what the email address you have set up on the account is. Chris will contact Krystal confirming the details and will copy you with the ticket number. You can then log into your account and create a support ticket (including the ticket number Chris has given you) confirming the transfer of the hosting and the domain name * (if appropriate).

That’s it, job done and you now have free web hosting.


 

 

Not a registered charity but still want value web hosting?

You can still get a value hosting package from our reseller supplier. Just buy an Amethyst account. Enter the email address you want to use (this will become your account name).

We will not allow any transfers unless we have an email confirmation that this is what you want to do. We may phone you to confirm this and on moving to the next step, choose Skip this step. Now choose your payment plan (monthly, annually, bi-annually) and continue to the next step. When you have paid, email Chris to confirm that you want the transfer and telling him what the email address you have set up on the account is. Chris will contact Krystal confirming the details and will copy you with the ticket number. You can then log into your account and create a support ticket (including the ticket number Chris has given you) confirming the transfer of the hosting and the domain name*.

* Some domains are registered through a different supplier. If that is the case you will be given the details and direct access to that account which will enable you to manage this autonomously or transfer it to your Krystal account.
